What has been your biggest accomplishment this year so far?
Our biggest accomplishment this so far this year was probably having the first single from our new EP premiere on the Village Voice blog.  That was pretty amazing.

What are some of your goals for CMJ week?
This will be our first time at CMJ, so we’re definitely looking forward to experiencing it and getting a sense of what it’s all about.  We’ve heard a lot of great things, but also that it is kind of crazy–so we can’t wait!
We also hope to play for some new people, hopefully win over some new fans, and make all the connections we can.  One of the best things about SXSW–to which we’ve heard CMJ compared–is that there are so many music fans and industry people concentrated in the same city.  So we expect this will be a great networking opportunity.

What’s on the agenda for the rest of 2014?
For the next couple of months we’ll be finishing out the fall release tour for Here and After.  We have shows lined up in Chicago, Dayton, OH, Minneapolis, Nashville, and of course at CMJ.  As winter sets in and people start to hunker down for the season, we’ll have time to do some more writing.  It will be fun to have a chance to explore and expand on some of the ideas and song snippets we’ve been generating over the past six months.

CMJ Schedule:
Oct. 22nd – 9:30pm – Big Picture Media 6th Annual Showcase – The Living Room Williamsburg
