Night Riots is setting the alternative underworld ablaze as swift and smartly as their brooding, melody rich and timeless songs have already endeared them to critics. The Southern California based band has a unique melodic sensibility – delivering transcendent pop music that is both modern and timeless; as well as both sinister and romantic, with the downbeat flair of new wave, ’80s movie soundtracks.
What has been your biggest accomplishment this year so far?
There have been a few huge accomplishments this year- We finished an amazing group of songs, filmed an insane music video and have been able to tour throughout the entire USA.
What are some of your goals for CMJ week?
As far as CMJ we are excited to be able to play for our first time in New York City, and to catch some great bands and see a bunch of old friends.
