Brett Eldredge’s first headlining tour had been long anticipated since his debut album was released in 2013 and included major hits like “Mean To Me” and “Beat of the Music”. Shortly after the release of his self-titled third record, Brett announced that the wait was over – but man, was it worth it. Production wise, Brett pulled out all the stops while still making the massive room feel like an intimate space. Screens covered the entire backside of the stage, changing with nearly every song, and a fully stocked bar sat at the top of the stage for the duration of the night. In the middle of his set, a bed appeared in the middle of the stage, and Brett stripped down some of his favorite songs – a tribute to his extremely popular “Bedhead Jams” series on Snapchat. Even his dog Edgar came out for a song!
Opening up for Brett was 2017 breakout artists Devin Dawson and Jillian Jacqueline. After both putting in their 10,000 hours, the two musicians (and longtime friends) both found success in recent months with their critically acclaimed debuts: Dark Horse, Devin’s debut album and Side A, Jillian’s label debut. Both acts joined Brett on stage later in the night for a cover of Gnarls Barkley’s “Crazy”. Check out some photos from the final tour stop at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom!
