It had been ten years since Ashlee Simpson released music when her and her husband, Evan Ross, released their debut duo EP late last year. After much love from fans, the two took their new songs on the road and kicked off their North American tour at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City on Monday night. The two hit the stage both together and separately – performing all the songs off their self-titled EP, a collection of covers and some of Ashlee’s biggest hits from the early 2000’s. Clearly hopelessly in love, the married couple had no problem showing their affection for each other on stage – both with mid-song kisses and verbal praise of the other’s talents.
