6-year-old singer, songwriter Sophia Kameron is fast becoming a rising star since the debut of her self-penned single “Connected” came out in the summer of 2016.
With a debut EP out on November 18th, Sophia has been tipped as an “Artist to Watch” by Young Hollywood, while her official video for “Connected” has garnered more than 300k plays in under a month. As the year draws to an end, Sophia’s star continues to ascend with an extensive North American tour on the horizon, as part of the esteemed #DigiTourWinter in November and December.
Praised for her inspiring and intelligent pop music, influential teen empowerment site School of Doodle has proudly endorsed her “message of connection,” while Girls Guide To Music advise readers to “keep this chick on your radar,” and the popular music blog Yab Yum Music note “there is some serious potential developing in this youngster.” Equipped with an acoustic guitar and a quiet room, Sophia writes her music, drawing inspiration from her observations on the world around her.
In her early years, Sophia – who hails from Phoenix, Arizona – nurtured her affection for the arts by attending theater workshops and experimenting with her own music. By the age of 12, she was enthusiastically strumming her guitar.
