In just 18 months, Old Dominion took their first New York City crowd of 170 people at Joe’s Pub and multiplied it tremendously – bringing in 2,100 people to PlayStation Theatre. The sold out show marked a tremendous accomplishment for the rising country band, whom have proved their unique style of songwriting is exactly what was missing on the airwaves. The band alternated between songs they cut themselves for their debut album Meat and Candy, and songs they’ve written that other country stars have recorded, such as Kenny Chesney’s “Save It For a Rainy Day” and Sam Hunt’s “Make You Miss Me”. Old Dominion will be hitting the road again early next year with Miranda Lambert – be sure to grab your tickets now! Check out some photos from the NYC show below.
