It’s no secret that Charles Kelley’s vocal and songwriting abilities can fill arenas, but there’s something about a smaller stage that gives his personality room to shine. On the opening night of The Driver Tour, Charles sang his way through most of his debut solo album, The Driver, as well as some fan-favorite Lady Antebellum hits. In between songs, he bantered with the crowd, told stories and made jokes at his own expense. At one point, he jumped into the middle of the crowd to sing and dance with fans. While Lady Antebellum shows are always something to look forward to, there is something really special about watching Charles capture a crowd on his own and have fun with it. Opening up for Charles was his older brother, Josh Kelley, who proved that both singing and humor are in the Kelley Family DNA. Check out some photos from the show!
