If there’s one thing Florida Georgia Line knows how to do, it’s put on a show. Complete with fire, video projections and semi-synchronized dance moves, Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley kept the crowd on their toes (and up off their seats) for the whole show. But the standout moments came during calmer moments of the show: an acoustic medley of old, fan-favorite tracks, a dedication to their wives (who were in the house) with their multi-platinum hit “H.O.L.Y.”, and personal videos from their weddings and honeymoons projected during their current single, “God, Your Mama and Me”. While the FGL boys definitely still know how to party (and brought their custom whiskey, Old Camp, on stage many times to prove it), they’ve also found the value of a love song and the hundreds of couples in the audience definitely felt the sincerity in them as they were performed.
Opening up for Tyler and BK was Dustin Lynch, whom reminded everyone just how many hit songs he has under his belt between “Cowboys and Angels” and his latest, “Small Town Boy”, and Chris Lane, whose guest appearance onĀ The Bachelor this season clearly inspired him as he offered out roses to female fans in the front row.
