Kacey Musgraves may not be radio’s favorite country singer, but that has not halted her cult-like fan base from continuously growing since the release of her first single, “Merry Go Round”. Her sold out headlining tour is proof of that. The Country and Western Rhinestone Revue made a stop at The Trocadero in Philadelphia on Saturday night and among her light-up, suited-up band, Kacey Musgraves sang her heart out. While her songs are Southern-influenced, they’re universal. Among the sold out crowd was a four-year-old celebrating her birthday, an elderly couple sitting in the balcony, and dozens of 20-somethings with their moms in tow. She may not be getting airplay, but she’s certainly getting stuck in heads. Spend a night at the Rhinestone Revue – you won’t be disappointed.
