The annual CMT Next Women in Country Tour kicked off in New York City last week and it’s not one to miss. Opening up the night was Song Suffragette Kalie Shorr, whose debut single “Fight Like a Girl” put her on the map in 2016. Currently promoting her new EP, Awake, this will serve as Kalie’s first tour – and there’s no better one to be on. Following Kalie, RaeLynn gave a stripped down performance of songs off her debut album, Wildhorse, and previewed new music for lucky attendees. Sara Evans serves as the tour’s headliner and took fans on a journey through her epic music career with songs from every era. To close the show, all three ladies performed “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” together, and if NYC was any indication, that’s what concert attendees will be doing all tour.
