Since 1972, CMA Fest has continued to get bigger and bigger. This year, the festival set a new record – drawing over 87,000 fans a day to the four day event. More than 500 artists performed on 11 different stages – seven of which were free. Every artist performing donated their time for free and all proceeds from the festival went to the CMA Foundation which supports music education in schools. The organization has donated over $11 million over the years. If you missed the festival, ABC will be airing a concert special – hosted by Little Big Town – on August 4th.
