Not even thunderstorms could stop Bostonians from swarming City Hall Plaza this weekend for this year’s Boston Calling Festival. Even after a mandatory evacuation around 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, fans stuck around to watch that night’s headliners – Lorde and Childish Gambino – play their delayed sets. Festival goers on Sunday were treated to much clearer skies and equally great music, including a special performance by Nas and The Roots. Check out some photos from the festival!
Saturday: Sky Ferreira, Bleachers, The Hold Steady, Lorde, Childish Gambino
Sunday: twenty one pilots, The 1975, The Replacements, Nas
