It’s been 15 years since Simple Plan’s debut album No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls was released and a new generation of punk rock kids started to figure themselves out. The Canadian band became a staple in both the rock scene and on Top 40 radio, and even appeared in a Mary-Kate and Ashley movie – a high honor in the early 2000’s. Over the past 15 years, Simple Plan has released four more full-length albums, but to celebrate the success of their first release are embarking on a full U.S. tour and playing the record in full. They kicked off their highly-anticipated tour in New York City on Friday night and the sold out crowd was made up of fans of all ages – all there to pay tribute to this record.
