This week for my blog I wanted to talk about the work I've been doing with 'The Thirst Project'.
The Thirst Project is a nonprofit organization that helps raise awareness of and bring solutions to end the world water crisis. Did you know that a billion people in the world don’t have access to clean drinking water? In the USA we can have clean water brought to us at the push of a button; unfortunately other counties don't have that privilege. Thanks to Seth Maxwell (Founder & CEO of The Thirst Project) so many communities in 3rd world countries have received fresh water! How cool that we can help take a step to ending the world water crisis and making the world a better place?!
Like most of you, I can't go to the front lines and help people get access to fresh clean water but I can help just as much right here in the United States! With the help of Seth I've been informing as many people as I can about 'The Thirst Project' and how students like you can help and get involved in their awesome school programs.
I made a PSA with The Thirst Project to give you some ideas on how you can get involved! You can check it out here:http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HkXf8ov_L48
